Gambling on time with monopoly!
Today I finally started working on one of my assignments, which is to develop a non-interactive scripted game monopoly game. The purpose is focus on my use of object-orientated techniques rather than the game itself which is why it is non-interactive. The game will play by itself and display the results and the status of all the players. It will use a random function in order to simulate a dice roll and will cycle through 20 rounds, with the game purchasing a property square as soon as it lands on it, providing its free of course.
I’m hoping to be able to get to the requirements level for acheiving a pass mark by Monday whilst aiming for 80-90% region by the end of the week for when the assingment is due in.
In other news, I’ve done pretty much nothing to do apart from the above and also watching ‘Bottom Live’ for the first time in about five or six years. Totally forgot how incredibly funny Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson really are.
Plan off attack tomorrow is to continue with the assignment, possibbly head out to the gym as I haven’t been there for a few weeks and finally start twittering again!
